What you are buying. A personal licence to use Mac Duo, for one payment of £2.99. Install it on up to 5 Macs that you own or use. There is no key to enter and nothing to activate — we are asking rather than enforcing.

What you may not do. Redistribute the app, resell it, or publish your download link.

Immediate supply. Mac Duo is digital content, and your download is available as soon as you have paid. At checkout you are asked to confirm that you want supply to begin immediately and that you understand this affects the 14-day right to cancel that normally applies to digital content bought online. Once the download has been made available to you, that cancellation right no longer applies.

Compatibility guarantee. Mac Duo requires a compatible continuous lid-angle sensor. Please check your MacBook model on the compatibility page before purchasing. If your MacBook is listed as compatible and the sensor check detects the required interface, but Mac Duo still cannot read the lid angle and work as described, email hello@studiogohl.co.uk and we will investigate and provide the appropriate remedy, including a full refund where required.

Unsupported or uncertain Macs. If your MacBook is listed as unsupported, or the required sensor is not detected, Mac Duo is not expected to work on that Mac. If you choose to purchase anyway, this voluntary guarantee does not apply, and we may offer a 50% goodwill refund at our discretion. This goodwill policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where digital content is not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose.

Updates. If we release an update we will email you, and you will be able to download it with the same email address you bought with. We do not promise a particular number of updates or a particular schedule.

Warranty. Mac Duo is provided as it is. It is a visual effect for a laptop lid; it is not sold as fit for any particular purpose beyond that.
